One of two signature events of the Atlanta Police Foundation, the Crime is Toast breakfast hosts Mayor Franklin’s annual State of Public Safety address, which reviews the successes and challenges of striving to make Atlanta one of the safest cities in America, as well as outlines the Mayor’s and Chief Pennington’s plans and goals aimed at continuing to improve the safety of Atlanta’s residents and businesses in 2009. 

The Crime is Toast breakfast, with Phil Kent, Chairman and CEO of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. serving as event chair and Chief Sponsors Turner Broadcasting System, Bank of America, and UPS, will recognize the achievements and courageous actions of some of Atlanta’s finest officers and citizens. The awards ceremony paying tribute to the men and women in blue is a very moving experience for business and community leaders in attendance.
