Crime Stoppers Atlanta enables citizens to anonymously report crimes, in return for a reward. To date, the program is responsible for solving almost 130 cases.
Crime Stoppers Atlanta is an anonymous tip line that provides rewards for tips leading to the arrest and indictment of individuals who commit Part I Felony (Assaults, Fugitives, Homicides, Narcotics, Robbery) crimes. Crime Stoppers provides a toll-free telephone number and website, to encourage citizens to volunteer information that can help law enforcement agencies solve crimes.
The impact of Crime Stoppers Atlanta is nothing short of impressive. Since its 2007 beginning, it has played a key role in keeping Atlanta safe, taking more than 2,600 tips, solving 136 cases and leading to 69 arrests. The scope of Crime Stoppers Atlanta extends beyond the city of Atlanta, with ties to other police jurisdictions including DeKalb, Gwinnett, Cobb, Clayton and Henry Counties, to name just a few.
